I am hoping to help others through crochet as both a hobby and past time, but also as a form of personal creative expression. Books are great but are not the ultimate teacher. Sometimes you need a little extra to inspire you to do more than you thought you were capable of.
Though I am mostly self taught, my grandmother was my inspiration to start this craft. I loved and respected all of my grandparents, but she was the one that I most related to.
She shared the same birthday as Anne Frank, but was able to cross Europe from Latvia through the WWs to come to America and build her life and family. She took something that may have started out of necessity and turned it into some thing that gave her joy by giving to others.
