@chachieb Think quicksand.... I dont know how to explain it scientifically, but the water turns the sand from solid to a liquid slurry... they can sink pylons for beach houses like this... if you dig deep enough near the coast the hole just fills itself in...

saw a video of you saying your foam wire cutter is broke... i've seen automated foam wire cutters used for modeling airplanes... youtube it

These remind me of the concept art fora video game. Makes me imagine a mech war game set in a post-nuclear fallout/cold war gone wrong. Maybe even the skins for a Real time strategy game...
