About Me:
Jamie has spent the last 3 years touring extensivly in the USA with the highly successfull Aussie Floyd show, and has played at such venues as the Greek Theatre in LA, The Bell Centre Montreal Canada, and London's Royal Albert Hall. He also performs regularly in London West End Queen Musical We Will Rock You, and also in Sweden in the Champions of Rock show. Last year he toured, althought cut short, with the Flashback Mystic Orchestra. Jamie has played clinics in the UK, USA and Japan, for Ernie Ball Musicman and Cornford amplifiers, and has performed with the likes of Vinnie Moore, Richie Kotzen, Pat Torpey, John Petrucci, Albert Lee, and Steve Lukather.
Jamie uses and endorses Musicman Guitars, Ernie Ball strings, Blackstar amps, DiMarzio Pickups, cables and straps, MXR and Dunlop pedals, and dunlop picks. He also endorses Line 6 effects and Steinberg recording software.
Jamie and his long time music partner Singer/Bassist Jason Campbell, and drummer Pete Riley, have just completed their debut album J, which features 10 tracks, a mixture of vocal and instrumental rock and fusion....The album includes a guest solo trade on the track Fubar with Richie Kotzen....So please check it out!!!
Jamie is currently playing guitar in the Kerry Ellis and Brian May Band, and performed with Brian and Kerry at the BBC Last Night of the Proms at Hyde Park in September 2010. 2011 saw jamie perform with Brian May and Kerry Ellis oin the hugely successful Anthems UK tour, including two sell out shows at Londons Royal Albert Hall. He also performed with them to a sell out audience at RAF Cranwell, and also performed at the Goodwood 2011 Festival of Speed. In September 2011 Jamie had the honour of being invited by Brian May and Roger Taylor to perform with rock legends Queen at Freddie Mercury's 65th Birthday celebration at a celebrity invite charity party at the Savoy in London. Jamie shared the stage with not just Brian May and Roger Taylor, but also guitar legend Jeff Beck and Genesis bassist/guitarist Mike Rutherford.
Jamie has being busy working on the worlds first digital guitar magazine, Lick Library's Guitar Interactive Magazine, and so far has worked along side such guitar superstars as Steve Morse, Steve Howe, and Johnny Marr, as well as producing various video lesson's on the Guiatrist's of that have played with Ozzy Osbourne, his own Rhythm Method column, plus a special feature on the guitarists of the Shrapnel Records label, which included a special message from Jason Becker.
