Julie Hitchens is the founder and senior pastor of Lion Of Judah Tabernacle in Houston, Texas. With more than 20 years in ministry, Prophetess is committed, the goal of her very existence is to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to people of every color and culture all over the world, literally changing lives one person at a time. Julie Hitchens received the vision for Ministry in 1995. She held the church first worship service in a two story office building in Houston Texas with only nine families in attendance.

The congregation moved from the two story office building to a 6,000 square ft store front. We added a weekly radio broadcast Monday-Friday here in Houston, Texas with KANI-1500AM, KWWJ -1360AM, KYOK-1140AM KCNW AM 1280 ( Kansas, City + Missouri ) 2million,WFAM AM1050 (Augusta, GA + South Carolina) 550,000 plus, WBXR AM 1140 (Huntsville, AL + Tennessee ) 1 million, WELP AM 1360 (Greenville, SC + North Carolina) 775,000. She also conducted Street Ministry, Tent Meeting in Houston, Texas, Hotel Conferences, Bible Study Meetings in homes with individual groups, Television Interviews with CET-TBN 14, KLTJ-22 Houston TX. Held Conferences for Women. Also held Conferences at Civic Center in Rosenberg, Texas, Baton Rogue, LA., Baytown, TX. Livingston TX and in Kingwood,TX, Dallas, Tx, Forth Worth Tx. Have witness through her ministry the dead risen, sickness healed cancer, kidney disease, curses broken, deliverance for the oppress, those in bondage set free. The greatest miracle of all is souls being saved. Prophetess Julie is also a Coordinator of National Day of Prayer here In in Texas.




Prophetess Hitchens is known for her practical approach to the Bible and has encouraged thousands to pursue a personal relationship with God. Prophetess Julie and her husband Joseph, who is also a pastor of Lion Of Judah Tabernacle, has three children and live in Houston, TX. A son that is a Youth minister in ministry with her and a fifteen year old daughter who helps in ministry. Also a daughter who is married both her and her husband are in the ministry as ministers in the outreach ministry. Pastor Julie Hitchens is also a licensed real estate agent.

She believes that Prayer is a vital instrument in communicating with God, who is the commanding officer and we are his soldiers. And that all true prophets or prophetess are intercessors. Her question is who can have a word from Lord if they have not been with Him? After a visitation in heaven with the Lord He allowed Prophetess to see Christ sitting on the throne with his crown on his head and the father spoke and said "the only thing we could ever give Jesus is souls this is what he died for and to never let the people of God forget." So her goal is to reach lost souls. This is the reason God gave his only begotten Son and the reason Jesus came from heaven to earth. Her goal is to gather souls of all nations of every culture as a gift to Jesus and a Jewel for His Crown. She is determined to Disciple others to do the same.
