Jeff Hudson

I am a Keyboardist, Singer/Songwriter, Trumpet player, and Bassist and have been playing music since I was 6 yrs old, and am still at it 44 yrs later. I grew up around Indianapolis, IN, but spent nearly 30 yrs playing in a number of great bands in the greater Boston area, after attending the Berklee College of Music there. I moved back home to Indy in Aug. 2008, played some solo shows, in a duo with good friend, Vocalist/Guitarist/Songwriter, Mike Ginsberg, playing a regular acoustic open stage with new friend, popular Indy Vocalist/Guitarist, Jim Durrett, of the band, Ol' Skool, whom I also played with for a time. As of Aug. '09, I have been the keyboardist/vocalist (also trumpet, bass) with the popular Indy cover band, KikAxe. Ran my own Open Stage for awhile, and out of that, started a trio called Union with 2 of the members of KikAxe. I love and have played music of many genres, but love Progressive Rock most, bands such as Yes, Genesis, Asia, UK, Icon, Rush, Kansas, ELP, Dream Theater, Circa, and many more. I promote my own original music on my Myspace site, www.myspace.com/jeffhudson3, and feel that it is most like Asia, which has been a huge influence on me, although I have my own sound.
