I'm curious how you modify your grip to throw the Groove compared to drivers with a less thick rim. I'm really struggling to get sufficient snap and spin with it. I've found a grip I like which seems to produce enough rotation, but it is screwing up all my release angles.

@DAROPAT Yes, I also discovered that throwing it forehand seems like a much better idea. On the backhand I cannot get it to either hyzer flip up to straight or flex back on an annie so it just goes out, and falls. But forehand it seems to come into its own.

Thank you so much for posting videos of what push hands with a master is _supposed_ to look like instead of all this nonsense you see with people flying 20 feet backward from the touch of a finger -- or worse still, competition push-hands which simply devolves into a shoving contest. THANK YOU.

Hard to tell from the editing, but Dave seems to be right on the brink of the 30 second clock on every single one of these putts. How seriously does that rule get taken in tournaments with top pro players?

Is this clip from a very old video? I would say that in the 1970's or the 1980's it would be a reasonable claim that the martial aspects of taijiquan were "largely lost and incomplete" but that hardly seems to be the case today.

How is this "push hands"? Both of them moved at least one foot, which is against the rules of competitive push hands.
