Great White - Rock Me
Music video by Great White performing Rock Me (2002 Digital Remaster).
@argonPOS 80s women were a little too "made up" for my tastes (too much make up, hair spray, expensive clothes, etc.) I prefer the more natural 60s/70s look that made a comeback after the 80s ended.

Best song on ATTW3. The outro in particular is one of the best in Genesis's catalogue...I love how Tony just keeps jamming those chords all over the piano while Phil drums like a madman in the background. I almost wish they would have extended that outro for a minute or two longer...

I never cared much for this song, IMO its the weakest song on ATTW3. The lyrics are a poor attempt at capturing the storytelling ideal of their earlier works, and the guitar riff is copied from Twilight Alehouse.

I love Bill, but I have to admit this was pretty funny. Although part of that was because of how oversimplified it was.

@yelloyo "If government didnt get in the way, the workers greed would come through and they would demand more pay, more say, and better conditions."
Huh? Normally government "getting in the way" is what ALLOWS workers to get more pay, more say and better conditions. It's called unionizing.

@illboy6 Yes, but those big businesses are *owned* by individuals who make those actions, and those actions mainly benefit those at the top.
-
@illboy6 The top 1% didn't acquire all their wealth from "hard work." Yes hard work was part of it, but they also got favors from the government (with OUR tax money), outsourced jobs to avoid paying fair wages, privatized public services (again, more of OUR tax money going to them), bribed govt...

Genesis - The Brazilian
Great instrumental song by Genesis from the album Invisible Touch
@grahambanks Sorry but I wouldn't call Domino "prog" at all. It's two different songs under one track. I'd be willing to bet that if the two parts had been tracked separately without the "Domino" umbrella title, it/they wouldn't get nearly as much praise.

Jethro Tull - Thick as a Brick
Album: Thick as a Brick (1972)
Genre: Prog Folk
The whole masterpiece finally in one piece!
@vivafra87 I do know that. Still, on a purely musical level, I think the first half is far surperior to the second half.
And the fact that it's a spoof apparently doesn't matter to most Tull fans, who seem to take it just as seriously as other progressive rock operas.

Keep Public Libraries Public
Only library patrons should profit from libraries but some local governments are turning to privatization as a quick fix when budgets become tight....
Stupid liberals. If you want to read a book, go to a book store and buy it or read it online. Quit using libraries and raising my taxes. Nothing is free. Libraries are yet another way in which the government is trying to turn America into a socialist state like Cuba and Soviet Russia.
