@ChristianSarbu Not really. Scam baiters typically make no money. And since Nigerian police usually do little or nothing to these scammers, most of them can walk free with little to no risk of being caught. Scam baiters just make life difficult for some of them :)

@rbodell Thanks. As a legal immigrant, I despise anyone trying to circumvent the system and do it the "easy way" but I think prison and lifetime bans should be reserved for criminals and 2nd time illegals. Some people just get stuck in horrible situations.

@manny298 To keep our legal system intact and credible though, it still costs millions of taxpayer dollars in court proceedings. The only way to make the death penalty cost effective is to sentence them, drag em out in the back and shoot em. That's what they do in North Korea and China.

@BritainDivided multiculturalism just seems to be the root cause of racism in Europe. We hardly have that problem in the US.. Where we call it melting pot and expect immigrants to adjust to US culture. Seems to work splendid, and I live in a town that's about 30% white.
