Frank Kovic, age 92, passed away, February 8, 2012, at Lynwood Manor. He is survived by his daughter, Robin Halsey of Adrian, his grandchildren, Steve Robbins of Huntsville, AL, Ashley Halsey of Adrian, Albert C. Halsey IV of Morenci, Hannah Halsey of Adrian, Cheyenne Halsey of Adrian, Mary Kovic and Beth Kovic both of Maryland and five great
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis & Elizabeth Kovic, his daughter, Priscilla Robbins of Huntsville, AL, his son, James Kovic of Maryland and all of his siblings. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 11, 2012, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian. Cremation will follow. Esmeralda "Ezzy" Garza, age 53, of Adrian, passed away, January 30, 2012. She was born June 24, 1958, in Ft. Wayne, IN, the daughter of Noe & Virginia (Saldivar) Garza. Ezzy was a graduate of Blissfield High School, Class of 1977. She loved being with friends and family and was a die hard Michigan Wolverine fan. Ezzy loved to bowl and play softball. She adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She is survived by her father, Noe Garza, Sr., her children, Danny (Laurie) Galvan, Jr. of Elkhart, IN, Joel Matthew Galvan of Adrian, Gina Galvan of Adrian and Sergio Galvan of Adrian, four grandchildren, Austin, Cameron, Julian and L.B., her siblings, Noe Garza Jr. of Blissfield, Rosa Lee of Tecumseh, Lela (Juan) Bosquez of Palmyra, Joel (Kelly) Garza of Toledo, OH, Gabriel Garza of Wisconsin, Virginia Garza of Sylvania, OH, Olga Sanborn of Adrian and Belinda Garza of Adrian and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Garza and her nephew, Stephen Negrete II. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 3, 2012, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, with Bishop Ramon Rosas officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Adrian. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian. A Rosary service will be held on Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and be officiated by Bishop Rosas. He is survived by his wife, Idolina "Dolly" Cabello, his children, Elizabeth Cabello-Rufner (Lamar), Billy Cabello, Leonard Cabello, Reuben Cabello, Belinda Cabello (Cantu) and David Cabello, his grandchildren, Ava & Lamar Rufner, two sisters, Maria Gauna & Mary Espinosa and his brother, Tomas Cabello. Kirk Carswell, age 46, of Tecumseh and Adrian, passed away January 25, 2012. He was born May 4, 1965, in Adrian, MI, the son of Louis & Evelyn (McMillion) Carswell. He is survived by his wife Cindy Carswell, three daughters, Lisa (Tim) Deatrick, Kristen Claus and Jessica Barnhill, his grandson, Jermain, his mother, Evelyn L. Carswell his brother, Dirk Carswell, nephew, Quincy Carswell and stepson, Brandon Cooley. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis J. Carswell and stepson, Kody Cooley. Henry E. Clark, age 81, of Morenci, passed away, January 26, 2012. He was born June 13, 1930, the son of, E. O. & Laurel (Wells) Clark. Henry retired from the Budd Company in Clinton when it closed. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his mother, Laurel Clark, two brothers, Robert (Bonnie) Clark of Adrian & Stanley (Kay) Clark of Lexington, two daughters, Kathy Wild of Toledo and Karen Mallory of Arizona, his stepchildren, Robert (Deb) Boss of Adrian, Clarence (Linda) Boss of Toledo and Donna Boss of Adrian, seventeen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, E.O. Clark, his wife, Doris Clark, his sister, Helen Burkett, his son, Glenn Fryer and great grandson, Cody Reaster.
