oh geezzz, I just realized how old you were (no offense, it just tells me a lot about your work history)...I bet you used to work for FracTech...They don't use the diesel anymore...They were always kind of a wishy washy group...no offense ment...

but, where you are wrong about diesel (sorry i'm bouncing around, preoccupied cooking dinner)...it was never a lub...would have made the mix too thin anyway....

glycerin is a total different ballgame...that was never legal, well the used motor oil either...seriously, I would like to know who you work/worked for...

so you were also ran the blenders? that is very strange.... what company did you work for? only one company used diesel in their mixture, that was FracTech, which that didn't last long due to the fact that diesel combustion is caused by pressure and fracing is HIGH pressure...it acted as a serious explosive, that was not safe therefore no longer used by any anymore...the salt water is the lubricant for most companies except the ones who use a propane system now like GasFrac...currently it is a salt water/acid led field, but propane is making strides...honestly, if the company is still (must be a small one) trying to use diesel in their mix, they need to be cited...explosive combustibles went out with jelled gasoline which was replaced with salt water...and they most definitively need to be cited for trying to use used motor oil...honestly, not just cited, locked down...
