About this user
Jesus Christ established one Church on earth (Matthew 16:18), "...the pillar and foundation of truth (1 Timothy 3:15)." He positioned Peter as the first pope to guide the flock (John 21:15-17), and that position has been passed down through a linage of popes (Acts 1:20) to our current Pope Benedict XVI. And the gates of hell shall not prevail against this Church (Matthew 16:19).
The Catholic Church is the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic church that Jesus Christ himself established and sustains.
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation, he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered died and was buried. On the third day he rose again in fulfillment of the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy Catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

It saddens me when I see so many Protestants led astray by the heresies and false teachings sprouting from the Protestant Reformation. Scripture alone, Faith alone! these are not Biblical doctrines taught by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. they are actually torn apart, when one takes the time to read the Bible (see the book of James). there's a reason Luther hated the book of James- it was because it didn't fit his doctirnes. i'm surprised he didn't tear it out of the Bible like he did with the other 7 divinely inspired books. pray, brothers and sisters, that our lost brethren will finally see and "come home" as for me, I stand behind the Holy Roman Catholic Church, Her teachings, and Her traditions. because i know through the Scriptures and through faith that the Holy Roman Catholic Church IS THE CHURCH OF CHRIST!
in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
