About Me:
As to my beliefs, I believe that there is one God Who is actively involved with creation; His name is Jehovah, the Self-Existent One. If you are looking for God or the truth, then the first thing you need to do is reach out--'cause God is out there just waiting for you to ask Him to reveal Himself. It is also important to have an open mind towards the existence of God if you do not have an open mind about this already.
If you are REALLY looking for God, you'll find Him; reach out to Jehovah and ask Him to reveal Himself to you.
If you're a new or seasoned believer stopping by, I strongly urge you to get into God's word, learn how to study it for yourself, and pray. When you do that, your fascination will turn in focus towards God's Word and His kind of love!

Your question to me, as a Calvinist, (I take it you do understand this) was "Do I believe in unmerited disfavor"?
JD, there is no such thing as "unmerited disfavour". There is a teaching called "Double or Absolute Predestination", which might be what you are thinking of, however, it would be wrong to call it "unmerited disfavour." God is SOVEREIGN, and HE rules HIS creation as HE sees fit. He has seen fit to choose some and has also seen fit to leave some in their sin and misery. If more Christians would REST in this God, they might not have so much fear, understanding that this terrible God is on their side and HE will take vengeance on those who hassle HIS Elect.
