@sgtcojonez I don't get why you see it that way. The original Japanese in this scene is not really any better. If the English dub here is retarded, then the Japanese dub is it's Down syndrome twin sister.

@DWolf2k2 I think they TRIED to go the creepy scary route in the dub (0:38-0:42), but let's face it, it's really hard to imitate an eastern European accent and make it sound anything other than aggressive.

@HetaliaFan4evr One of the objectives of the show was to mimic American animated shows and styles. Because of Invader Zim's popularity and that many anime fans are fans of IZ, I imagine Chuck's design is meant to be a kind of "easter egg".

@rioslakerfan123 Agreed. It works on two levels. It shows how Freeze is fooling himself when he claims to be emotionless. It also lets the audience know that despite his M.O., Freeze mourns the lose of the "warmer" things of life.

@devinsatur my guess is that the scene where Saeko kisses Takashi is HER hallucination, and not his. In his hallucination, Takashi is most likely still on the beach, or the part where Saeko comes on to him is where we, as the audience, stop watching his hallucination.
