@CyrusFun Have you tried thinking of having your feet in a T position as you go down onto the ice? I find that helpful with keeping the free foot onto it's side, keeping the extension through that leg as you glide with the front leg.

I love it when she lands on her dismount. I can almost see her thinking "Hold it hold it hold it hold it....GOT IT! PHEW!"

I'm not a gymnast, so I can't really judge, but I thought I saw several wobbles in there. Either way, it was a REALLY good routine to watch!

Skating is definitely not for wimps. I just started skating last year as an adult, and know that I will never get to the top levels of skating. However, I'm not letting that stop me from improving my own skating, and admiring those at the top levels.

I have a netti-pot, which I have used with some success. However, I may have to give this a whirl, especially since I am fighting off a cold.

@sarabeth1410 Since my last posting was a few months ago, my mohawks have gotten A LOT better. I'm now struggling with keeping my LFI 3-turn consistent with skating at a faster speed. I'm just not confident enough with leaning on that edge.....eeeesh!

@cupidgurl15 Although I've never done gymnastics, she is not too old to start. She can look at videos here on youtube to prove that. All she would need to do is contact a few places in her area to see if they offer classes for adults.

Very nice job ladies! As for the nay-sayers on here, I'm sure these ladies are well aware of what they need to work on, and performing may not come naturally to them. Who knows, maybe some of these ladies never performed on stage, or in front of an audience before, so it takes A LOT of courage ...

Gorgeous! I took some adult ballet classes in college, and I wish I had time/money to take a few more classes. You looked so natural in doing this. :) I wish you all the best of luck with your dancing!

@quelita28 In the video, she states that she's been skating for about 67 years. At the time, she started skating at 14.

She's a very good swimmer! Although I didn't learn to swim until I was older, I LOVE the sensation of going underwater.

@musicstar617 This is a possibility, no matter what your age is. I'm sure she's fallen MANY times with being a skater..it comes with the sport. As long as she's healthy and takes care of herself, her chances of getting injured aren't that significantly different.

@TheGirlpowergirls There's no need to tell me that. I wasn't being rude.

@withmymouthshut Yeah. I admit, I do get bumps and bruises with falling, but it doesn't stop me from trying. Even with all those mats, you can still get injured easily in gymnastics. It's just a risk you take. If you manage to join a gym, you should post a video of your progress at some point....

@FlutebyLilia I swear, it's the love/hate relationship we have as musicians! I'm surprised they didn't make any comments about doing that Prokokiev run to the high D, or his Classical Symphony.

@coolsalar I'd say thumbs up, even if you do skate, and wish that you were 1/100th as good as he is.
