[Indie Adventure Game Walkthroughs]

Hi there.
I've decided to forever stop recording games since I'm not motivated to do them any more.
I'll upload a few more vids this week, most of them I've recorded a while ago anyway, but after that it's the end, my beautiful friend.
I wish I had time to end with a big game like Pleurghburg, Duty And Beyond, No Action Jackson or Conspiracy of Song but I can't.

[Beacon]
A very detailed and atmospheric but short adventure. I think the backgrounds might be oil paintings. The game was made within a month and the creator even had time left to add voices.
This will be my last video btw. I'm ending on a high note.

[Shifter's Box]
I wonder if this game was inspired by Richard Longhurst and the Box that Ate Time or if great minds think alike.
I'm not so happy about this LP. There are some flaws on my part, the resolution is too small, and the sound is out of sync (again). Normally, I would redo the video but since that's not going to happen consider this a bonus vid.

[Pleurghburg]
I consider Pleurghburg the holy grail of AGS gaming. It's hard but fair. It's huge and not padded. Its art is simple but detailed. It's well planned but spontaneous too. Characters have a personality. Its little flaws let it show how much was done right. In short; its a great adventure game.
I don't have the time to do a full playthrough though.

[Trials of Odysseus Kent]
This is one of Yahtzee's forgotten games. Remember the pale school boy from 5 Days a Stranger? No? Well, that was suppose to be Odysseus Kent.
This game is hard to record. In a windowed screen the game crashes after 20 seconds and in full screen it seems to work but for some reason it can't record after those first 20 seconds, even though I can play through the entire game! Luckily there is a DOS version too so I recorded it again in DOSBOX, but then my video editor didn't recognize that video format, even though it's avi! Sooo here it is, an uncut, unedited, raw LP of Odysseus Kent.

Another Helm game.
One of the shortest games I have ever played.

[That Night Before 2]
I think this is the shortest part of the 4 games. It's a good thing I recorded this one a while back because I can't run them on Windows 7.

[Silent Knight 1]
This is the game that got me put off recording videos. The recording was 23 minutes long and at the time youtube had a limit of 11 minutes which meant I had to split the video in 3 parts. I told myself "I'll do it tomorrow". That was almost 2 years ago. Ironicly, I can now upload videos that are longer than 11 minutes but have stopped uploading.
There is a second game that I have never finished, but the third game was never released.

[Chicken vs. Road]
This game doesn't explain WHY, but does explain HOW the chicken crossed the road.
A very short and sweet game.

[Apprentice 2]
This game is soooo amazing, but not many people seem to have the patience to watch a 10 part playthrough. So I made the video 25 times faster. Problem solved.
