I don't ride to win or for the rosettes or for the recognition. I ride because I love it. I don't ride the best horses in the world, they have faults and so do I. But for me, riding is about building a partnership that is able to withstand anything that the world throws at you.

My rock, I love this little guy more than anything. He damaged his tendon nearly 2 years ago and it was touch and go whether he would have to be put down, let alone ridden again. But he's bounced back and he's going fantastically. He hasn't jumped since the injury as I want to take things slowly and not rush anything. If he continues to go as well as he is then he might be able to start popping jumps but I'm just over the moon that he can be ridden at all. He's the most genuine and honest pony I've ever met and to think he nearly went to slaughter breaks my heart. I couldn't ask for a better horse.

Yeah, cannot WAIT till Easter, I've got a month aswell :) My lectures finish on the 4th April, haha! I'm so lucky :) Hope your course is going well and stuff. What are you doing again? Probs more exciting that my English Lit haha.
