About this user

I studied fine art sculpture at Bath spa which introduced me to fine art media. I did a few video installations and a music video at Uni.

After leaving Uni and got a runner job for a company called Unit and after 6 months got promoted to MCR. I trained as technical support for final cut pro for two months and then got another runner job for a company called the Whitehouse. After 7 months I got promoted as an edit assistant on both Avid and Final Cut pro. I assisted on a number of adverts working with a wide range of clients. The most well know adverts were for Nike, Mars, Dove, Natwest, 118 and Lynx. I also assisted on a few shorts, A Time Comes (Greenpeace film directed by Nick Broomfield) and The Start.

I've also assisted on a few music videos. Never Leave You (Tinchy Stryder ft Amelle), Heads Will Roll (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Kiss of Life (Friendly Fires) and Never Forget You (Noisettes).

In 2008 I was a runner for the filming of Dawn to Dusk (a 12 hour motorcycle enduro) which was aired on the extreme sports channel and a DVD was also made. This was with Cambridge Film & Television. In 2009 the same thing but with UK Production. Only the DVD was made and it was a 24 hour enduro this time!

I worked on two films in Germany for a year. Edited and graded a film called Room To Breath and graded a film called The Receptionist.

Channel 5 hired me to help set up the new HD channel. I then became more involved as a broadcast assistant and did a few edits for the website.

I'm currently working as a QC edit assistant for Technicolor.
