If this movie does not win an Oscar I will lose all faith in the Academy. It dared to be different, a blast from the past and more beautiful than ever. It reminded me of why people fell in love with cinema in the first place. Easily the best movie of 2011.

@GrassyKnollTrolls - I live in LA as well and there is a reason why. The stronger the earthquake the longer the shaking. LA's faults are not mega thrust quakes like the ones in Japan. SO we dont have to worry about 9.0 earthquakes. We have smaller faults that at most would register a 7.5.
