My life became interesting in 2002, when I was one of the contestants on the World Wrestling Federations reality television program Tough Enough II, which aired on MTV wherein thirteen would-be wrestlers trained under WWF employees for fourteen weeks. In front of the world I laughed, cried, and got my booty kicked.
Shortly after Tough Enough II, I was hired by WWF (now renamed World Wrestling Entertainment) in September of 2002 as a stage manager. I worked on Tough Enough III in California for 3 months and then began traveling full time with the RAW and SmackDown! Rosters till March of 2004.
After leaving WWE, I moved to Boston, Massachusetts to continue my education at Emerson College, majoring in Television/Video. Around this same time in September of 2004, I began working for the professional wrestling promotion Total Nonstop Action Wrestling as a backstage producer/assistant director and traveled to Orlando, FL for work each week while still attending college in Boston, MA.
In 2007 I graduated from Emerson College with honors and shortly after parted ways with TNA in May of 2007. I was hired in June of 2008 as a Freelance Associate Producer for Powderhouse Productions. Since then I have been working for Powderhouse on shows for History Channel's-(The Works), Discovery Channel's-(Mega Engineering), and Animal Planet's-DOGS 101, CATS 101, America's Cutest Dog, Must Love Cats, and DOGS vs CATS.
Life is good, I cannot complain!

I'm the type of girl who always looks strong and never reveals her weaknesses. I'm a woman who plays many different roles. I am black and white with no gray in-between. I have no time for lies. I tell it how it is. I tell the truth.
I live in the city so I have a great appreciation for no sound at all. My goals in life are to continue to work as a Television Producer for many years, to have a family, to love, to be loved, and to retire owning my own bed-and-breakfast on a lake.
My entire family lives in Wisconsin, where I grew up. I miss them dearly. No one grows up thinking their parents might have challenges, well my parents do and I still love them 100%. I will break their vicious cycle. I will not walk in their footprints. I will create my own path. I spent a lot of my life being angry & confused pondering why I was dealt the cards I was given at birth. Not anymore. I am Jess Ward because of every experience I have had in my life: Good or Bad. I personally wouldn't change anything in my life because it makes me - me!
I like the simple things in life. I love cuddling with my Boston Terrier (Harry Harrison) and my boyfriend (Tommaso), catching up with old friends, watching movies and dramatic tv series, taking long naps, talking to senior citizens, BBQ's, fast food and fine dining.
