I am a WORLDLY individual who is introducing this new profession, Horse and Pet Massage. Did you know that our animals are a reflection of us. With that said, when I am massaging a horse, dog, or cat, I am working on you, the owner. I worked on people for 2 years before starting Pet massage. Through my experience working on animals, I have found it more fulfilling. Sometimes an animal may be having a hard time going up and downstairs because of a crippling arthritis. This may make them afraid to follow you when moving throughout the house. Pet Massage has addresses and improved this kind of situation. I have seen horses that are lame from being ridden before they were fully grown. This can be very painful. My Job is to make the horse more comfortable. Sometimes our pets "act out" because they are lonely and need attention. An hour of massage will remedy this and make them so grateful that they stop this behavior. You may have a new pet who is destroying your things and furniture, A massage will calm their separation anxiety. When your pet is doing well in this world, it takes the pressure off of us. We have peace of mind. When we feel better, our pets tend to do better because they take on our energy. It can cause a downward affect when we worry about them and they worry about us. I moved my cats with me from Wisconsin to California. These two were paralyzed with fear. My calico could not move and my longhair was drooling and could not stop panting. We stayed at a hotel the first night of the drive and by morning they had calmed down. But then I could not find the calico. I flipped the bed over, looked for possible "holes" in the wall. I was getting concerned and frantic, after all I was not going to leave my baby in Illinois. After about 30-45 minutes of this, I found her underneath an end table. God only knows how she fit herself under there. When I moved the tables around, she moved with them. After all this activity, the longhair began painting again. I was getting so worried and as I did so did they. I decided to take them to a veterinarian who said their carrier needed to be covered by a cloth so they think they are being moved from room to room. And she told me that I needed to relax because they are worried about me. The next 3 days across the country were much easier. They would sleep during the day and about 10 pm they would start to move around, so we would then find a place to sleep. At one hotel, my calico came right out the carrier and would admire herself in the mirror. When we drove through the Colorado mountains it was almost as if we were singing together. This was 4 years ago, and we are all doing FANTASTIC! Massage can also calm down your family the way the Vet helped us. I am now teaching Pet Massage and Practicing all over the world.
