I don't know what I could possibly say that hasn't been said far more eloquently by others who have M.E. I think my website speaks better than i do about where I have been with this illness [darker works section ,of course.lol] Most of the paintings with a dark haired girl usially looking dead,etc...are me at my worst,...I am in a better place emotionally/spiritually and in some ways am not as sick now as i was, but not all ways...some things are worse. It is a scary disease,Its taken much from me....some of which I cannot bear to share publicy....but its in those paintings. I think "savage lover"[my little pet name for "it" is a very good summary. me watching my whole life go up in smoke....but out of the ashes, i survived...not as the same person, but I 'm still here...still trying,and i've learned alot.[some of which i didn't want to know,abt human nature,etc...but I'm a better person spiritually for it. I see all the other posts and I am humbled,proud and amazed at all the people who have been brave enough to share their stories, their world. I hope my art is a decent contribution in lieu of words. Some of the happier pieces under paintings are also about this and aby hope [ie."Listen" ] well, this post is very long.oops.
