Hmmm. This is really not much different than the original Daft Punk cut, other than speeding it up, switching up the chorus and verse, and adding some percussion around 2:18. The original flows SO much better--it builds naturally. This is stupid.
@GuiFerreiraSantos I think this is actually a quite good performance! It's a matter of mixing really--had there been more treble and room in the mix, this would have been really exciting. Listen to Julian's singing--impassioned.
Ah...I miss the quality of these early recordings--so simple and carefree. These guys had something really special for a moment. Exquisite arrangements, sweeping lyrics, crisp energy. That intertwining guitar and cello line at the end is just...ah!
