Jershon Casas is a sales and marketing professional with a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in business management, but his true passion lies in his music. His love for music became apparent during his high school days in South Africa where he joined the school choir and took formal lessons in piano. His songwriting abilities came later in life during his first year in medical school. His style was influenced by his early years in South Africa: songs that reflex an 80's vibe, intricate story-lines, and catchy melodic phrases. His compositions are not only influenced by his African and Western upbringing, but also by his proud Asian roots. His Spanish-Chinese-Filipino heritage has helped him appreciate the array of styles of music. Throughout the years, he has grown as a songwriter and as an arranger. He continues to incorporate the new trends in his own compositions, giving the listeners the fusion of sounds of the new and the old.
