Hi! My name is Jeremy, and I'm a university student. I enjoy playing the piano. I started learning how to play the piano when I was 6 years old.

My other passions include penning fictional stories and biographies, and teaching. I aspire to be a lecturer.

Q: How long do you take to learn each new song right before recording it?
A: Japanese anime music: 1 - 2 days (1 hour of practice per day); Yiruma's piano music: 2 days (1 hour of practice per day); Other songs I've posted on YouTube thus far: 1 - 3 days for each song (1 hour of practice per day). (Tip: Practice sight-reading intensively on the piano to develop your feel for the keys on the piano, so that you take less time to learn new songs and spend more time reinterpreting the emotion of the music according to how it inspires you.)

Grade 1 - 137/150 (Distinction)
Grade 2 - 134/150 (Distinction)
Grade 3 - 137/150 (Distinction)
Grade 4 - 134/150 (Distinction) (Performed at the ABRSM High Scorers' Concert)
Grade 5 - 143/150 (Distinction) (Performed at the ABRSM High Scorers' Concert)
Grade 6 - 138/150 (Distinction) (Performed at the ABRSM High Scorers' Concert)
Grade 7 - 135/150 (Distinction)
Grade 8 - 132/150 (Distinction) (Performed at the ABRSM High Scorers' Concert)
DipABRSM - 86/100 (Distinction) (The solo recital and viva voce programs were the most fun parts. The Quick Study section was hell... I had to sight-read a Grade 6 piece within 2 minutes, and it was a Gigue! Fortunately, the examiners were merciful so as not to be too harsh with the marking, and I scored nearly full marks for the section :P)
