Jensen was a poet of the prairie, a maker of public parks and a prophet of conservation.

Best known for idealizing the prairie and then designing Chicgo's West Side parks for the urban poor in the "Prairie Style."

He championed the struggle to save the Indiana Dunes, he set aside Starved Rock State Park, the Cook County Forest Preserve and other lands for all too enjoy.

The film will be seen on PBS regionally and nationally.
