Once upon a time there were two birds. Beautiful birds they were, with amazing wing spans. They flew high, they flew low, they learned how to swoop down to get food and water.
One day, a great hurricane came. The birds were scratched and burned, their wings were broken off, but they survived. The birds became depressed and went insane, for they'll never fly again.
One bird's depression led to its death. It starved and died of thirst. The other bird decided "I WILL NOT DIE" and thought about what to do. It can't swoop any more, it can only walk. It developed a coping mechanism. It decided to forget that it ever had wings. It learned how to get food and water without swooping. It didn't die. Now, the bird dreams of flying, it became intelligent enough to make machines that it can get into and fly, but it must NEVER remember that it had its own wings once or else it may go insane and die of depression. Besides, its existence now is actually much more exciting, difficult, and fulfilling than ever before.
Do not dwell on the fact that you used to be an omnipotent being, or that you used to be "a star" or a part of the source or WHATEVER. Do not dwell on thoughts of going to heaven or hell or oblivion. All that matters is that you LIVE, HERE, NOW, AS YOU ARE. The more limitations you have with your body, the more opportunity you have to grow, to learn, to achieve incredible things and experience wonders to spite those limitations. It is this, that is most important. To struggle, to learn, to grow, to be happy, to be sad, to EXPERIENCE. Why is this not well known as the meaning of life?

My quest already ended. I soared past the houses, grocery stores, malls, traffic, society and money. Past the fields, trees, mountains, and deserts. Past the clouds, stars, and galaxies. Past the colorful beautiful ether, and crossed the edge of the universe. What I found there, was this being of light. The being existed alone, surrounded by infinite darkness. It manifested, out of sheer boredom and insanity, what resembled a television set, and imagined that a show was on. I peeked at the screen, and saw the universe, the stars, planets, countries, and YOU. It was intrigued that one of its actors had come out of the screen and said hello, but only for an instant. It ordered me to go back into the show and give a 5 star performance.
I went into the rabbit hole, reached the end, and learned the truth.The truth is, the idea that it is more important to be "good" as opposed to "evil" just doesn't hold up. What is truly important is how exciting your story is.
A man goes to a theater to see 3 movies. One being about Tesla's life, the next being about Hitler's life, and the third being YOUR life, how would the reviews pan out?
Tesla's movie is great. A man who makes an incredible discovery, changes the world, and then the ending is tear jerkingly tragic.
Hitler's movie is great as well. It is horrifying and jaw dropping, with plot twists and gotcha startling moments, and the ending is great.
What about your movie? Will the man in the theater, the being of light, God, fall asleep from boredom? Will he even be awake to catch your ending?
Are you going to change the world and make it better? Then change it!
Do you make a captivating bad guy? Then have at it!
Or, are you a 1 star disaster sheeple? Hero, villain, it makes no difference after it's all over. It's all about the ratings, baby.
Are you a blockbuster, or will your DVD sit in the library and collect dust, not even getting checked out FOR FREE?
