About Me:

I am not Khmer, however I fell in love with the voice of Ros Sereysothea the first time I heard her while vacationing in Cambodia. After learning about her I became interested in all the other great singers of the era, and I've been learning Khmer so I know what the songs are about, lol. Now I try to share this amazing music with anybody who will listen, not only to make the world a more beautiful place but also to help preserve a proud history that was almost destroyed.

Jeff-
I was listening to RS's song "Sra Muy Keo" ("Glass of Wine") you posted two years ago. I also listened to the original Chinese version by Teresa Teng whose name, by the way, looks very familiar. I really liked her version. She'd such a beautiful voice! Also, that is the kind of music that somehow just magically burns or melts away all the calories without having to physically do the workout. :). I love it!!! Thanks for posting the link. I am going to favorite her version to my channel.

Good Evening, Jeff! Thank you for my wonderful message! I am not sure who, or what distracted you from responding to me (X-D), but I haven't complained at all. :) I would very much like to know more about it. I hope I am not the distractor! :) I certainly don't want be one. Hahaha, I know how that can get in your way of working effectively, and I do want you to be alert and productive so you could make more awesome Khmer music videos. I never cease to learn or laugh by watching you videos! :) Anyway, I am sure you already knew how much I sincerely appreciate your work-and there is no such thing as a late response from you. :) Have a great evening! Talk to you again real soon.

Hi, just wanted to let you know that you rock for bringing out all these classics. I remember my mom blaring the music when I was little and singing along to the songs. You're bringing back old memories. :) Thank you so much for finding and uploading these songs. You're doing a great service by providing not just Cambodians/Khmais, but everyone all this wonderful music.

Hi, Jeff-I was listening to a couple of your songs and found a really good song I like very much. I didn't know RS did a cover of "Venus" by Bananarama. I am starting to like her voice alot lately after having learned through watching your videos of some of her beautiful songs. MocaCocaCola also has the same song on her channel, which is also very beautiful, but it features teenagers doing Westernized dancing. I actually like their voices and dance in her video. Thanks for making this video, featuring RS and Cambodia back then. It's a beautiful video!

Hi, Jeff, I have goose bump when I stumble up on your channel and found out that you are not even Khmer yet you love and charish the Cambodian oldy musics. You have posted a lot great songs in here. I grow up listening to Sin Si Samouth and Ros Serey Sothea and other great singers of that era. This is my first time hearing "Reatrey Mouy Nov Krong Paris" by May Tarak...great discovery. I wish I know about the artist.

Hi Jeff!
Thank you so much for your lovely response! This is like the second time I asked since the time when Elainecusd's video ("My Flower Seeks Love") was available until she closed her account recently. I thought it would be nice to hear your translated version of that song as well being that you are NOT Khmer. :) (Hahaha--what a nice way to find out if you speak my language!) I know I can be very musically demanding, but I will try my best not to make too many requests. I know how time consumming it is to produce videos and translate songs--and I should just be happy and thankful for all the available posts. I am glad to know that I can ask you things in the future and that the worst response I may get from you is a "no." :) Nice to know that because if I ask and you don't respond, then I will be wondering if everything is alright since you are a friend. With this being said, thank you very much from every angle of my heart. :) Have a great evening!
