I agree his father was a very nice man and the whole family is really nice, down to earth people. How his sister put up with those brothers, I will never figure out. They came to all of the games in high school and always tried to be not noticed. They wanted the focus on the players.

I had money on Shavers and even if he didn't win, he was a winner in my book. You will never see heavyweights like this anymore. They dance and paw, but they don't man up like this anymore. One of the greats.
