I was blind from 6 to 18. Experimental meds and experimental surgery gave me sight, I try to use it well. i shoot no budget flicks when I'm not an art dawg . dvx100a is my baby, I love shooting political action or kung fu flikas. I'm not jesus, but I am a red bearded carpenter who does live in a church-oh and I'm a felon federally for my role as the plant manager for the first cannabis club in Los Angeles . I was also the vice-president until the dea shut us down 10-25-01 which was coincidentally the day the patriot act was signed. The Judge said the dea was "Misguided and should not have raided us but the Judge A H Matz (good guy ) had no choice and had to convict three of us. He gave us each one year federal probation and 200 hours of community service. I recently completed a documentary and shot a one camera play (the same) entitled " The Silver Dollar" which is a snapshot of Latino culure which occurs in the bar where Reporter and KMEX news director Ruben Salazar was shot and killed by police during the national chicano moratorium against the Vietnam war which ended up becoming the East LA riots Aug 29th 1970. A documentary called Marlenes Garden has shots of our pot eden. Also big BOB Zemekis shot an interview with Scott Imler (L.A. Cannabis Resource Center President) for a showtime special in our garden. Do to our transparency we granted many t.v. interviews and our garden is still used by most news channels locally and nationally as their stock footage of a giant lush pot garden , whenever a pot story (bust or court decision) comes along.
