About Me:
Mohamed Kabaha was born and raised in the quiet village of Ein El Sahla of Wadi Aara in the Northern lands of Palestine. Growing up as the middle child of ten he learned how to get people's attention and was unique as a child for having dreams beyond the scopes of what others around him could even imagine. In grade school, he eagerly participated in school songs, plays and events, always taking the lead roles.
As a self starter, he used his hard earned money to form his own band which he called "Layaly El Nojoom" and began to sing independently at weddings in many villages and bigger cities such as Jerusalem and Ramallah. At the age of 23 he released his first CD that was called "Sikkit Tawahan" and shortly, in the year 1998 came the release of his the album "Al Abraj" named after the breakthrough song "AL Abraj" that found tremendous success all over Palestine and other Arabic countries.
For the years that followed, Mohamed released more albums such as "Bint Bladi" in 1999 and "Al Abraj 2" in 2001.
Mohamed Kabaha is professional at singing the Mawwal, Turath songs and Dabka. He is the professional when it comes to Palestinian Hinnas and weddings. He dedicates his work to carrying the "risalah" and the responsibility of passing the sha'abiyat and Palestinian Turath (cultural songs) from the older generation of our great grandfathers and grandmothers to the newer generation and youth of today. He works hard to preserve the original songs of our wonderful Palestinian ancestors and with every breath of his lovely singing he feels the pain and agony that the Palestinian people have experienced.
