About the performance:
Myth it is a choreographic duet inspired by the ancient greek story of Eurydice and Orpheus.The performance does not illustrate the story but exposes the myth - is the man the head and the women a heart? To promise each other endless love it is like to get "chained". We are living in a chain of being dependent from others. Complicated variations of movement without loosing a contact create the illusion of two bodies that move like one. The idea of being free in it or from it passes her mind. Are they still able to move together without losing the contact - when the tempo of live increases and everything is getting more complicated? Does the promise of endless love make us weak and vulnerable? After dissapearing of Eurydice, Orpheus lost his head completely, first he is desperate when she vanished. When he finds her back he could not keep his head together and look back. Myth is an abstract but symbolistic performance that researches the answers for the questions like: do we really born free or are we living in a chain of being? What is the underworld? Maybe the underworld is the freedom because we are not chained to anybody?
