One of the greatest bands EVER!!! Sad day when The Spiders and Bowie went their separate ways -I was about 15 and was a very sad young lad when I heard that bad news. But at least we had them for that very special time .

What I've hreard is that The Standells wanted to perform one of their songs, and when they ended up having to do a Beatles song, they threw some monkey wrenches into it! Good for them, because they were SO much better than this!
