JDotonBand is a modern worship canadian band who passionately desires to see this generation get back to the reason of its existence -- WORSHIP. The band, composed of brothers Jerry and Jon started writing songs in 1996 and got involved in different worship projects as song writers. The band traveled to different places such as Hong Kong, Macau,Philipps and some cities in Canada such as; Ottawa, Burlington, Brampton, St. Catharines, Scarborough, king City, Toronto, Mississauga, Timmins, Hamilton, Montreal, Laval, Vancouver, Nanaimo, Kelowna to lead worship and encourage other worship teams to pursue God and use their God- given ability for Him. In 2003, they became part of Montreals Artists Against Violence, an organization that creates a platform for Musicians, which gave them an opportunity to make a difference in the city. They also performed in different High School venues around Montreal, Quebec to encourage young people to stay away from violence and focus on learning. This also opened doors for them to play Christian music in university gatherings, Church's and sport events like the Ontario Vs Quebec Muay Thai championship Fight. In 2004, the Doton brothers moved to Greater Toronto, not knowing that God had a bigger plan for their lives. They became regular attendees of Northern Praise Ministries Inc, an organization that assists artists in getting started. Throughout the years, the Lord opened more opportunities for the brothers, including invitations to different churches, rallies, park events, conferences, hospital dedications, seminars and camp meetings. One church that continuously makes an impact in their lives is their home church, CLC in Brampton, where they were taught to stay grounded in the Word of God and serve their church and community. This month, they released their single Youve Stolen My Heart which can be downloaded @ www.youtube.com/jdotonband for free. Their 10 tracks CD DRAWN will be available on July 4, 2010. Glory to God!
