My guess is because your balls are so important, and very vulnerable and easily damaged, so your body developed a system to protect them back in caveman times. Since cavemen had simple minds, they would forget they had balls and sit on a tree branch sideways or something, and end up sitting on a ball (or both of them). Since sitting on your balls is bad for their health and his fertility, they had to let him know that they were about to pop. Soooo, they developed shitloads of nerves so it would hurt like a motherfucker if they were sat on, to remind the caveman not to sit on them. We still kind of need the nerves nowadays, for instance when i ride my bike and i sit on a nut, I need to be told that Im about to bust the nut (literally) if I dont get off it.
