I love Jaco's playing, and can listen to it all day long, but anyone who ever spent 5 minutes with Jaco would understand why someone would think he was an ass. Thats not taking anything away from his talent. Just how he was, not a god, just an awesome musician with issues.

@9thWardJukebox Nawlin's is surely blessed with some awsome talent, ( i.e.- John Cleary). I grew up playin' clubs in Chi-Town. Everything you could think of: Blues, Jazz, R&B, Rock, and of course...FUNK!! The meters were one of my favorites, thanks 4 lettin' me know where they're from =)

Check him out on Lee Ritenour's new cd " 6-string theory"! He totally kills " Moon River" in his own sweet jazzy swing groove. He also does a very incredable solo performance ( as in guitar only) on another cut, as only The Benz can. Much love, my sweet playin' brother!
