Jason Connell is the president and founder of Connell Creations, a Los Angeles based film and television production company. Most recently, Connell produced and directed "Strictly Background," a heart-warming feature length documentary about professional background actors trying to make it in Hollywood. The film has won numerous US & International Awards and was released on DVD in August 2008. Connell is also the founder and director of The United Film Festivals now located in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Chicago & London along with his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma. It was there Connell got his first taste for filmmaking and after creating numerous short films, commercials and corporate videos, he packed up and moved to California with the hope of telling bigger stories to wider audiences.
