About Me: I love nature, but don't get out in it as much as I would like. I took piano lessons from 7 to 17 but never practiced hard enough to get very technically-proficient -- Chopin's runs & trills and Fats Waller's speedy passages still elude me. I'm also theory-deficient. I like to improvise mainly "by feel" -- literally just working with the shapes of the chords under my hands after years of noodling around. I can rarely name the chords.
