@Thebritishgent Actually, the real story goes: Fish lived in a block of flats in which the tenants shared a bathroom. He would lounge in the bathtub for hours reading stacks of books & people would ask: "Is the fish out of the tub yet?" From the Mick Walls bio of Marillion, Market Square Heroes.
