About this user

I'm J, a simple person, who serves the only 1 true living God. I am no better than anyone, and I don't claim to be. The only thing I claim to be is free. I have been delivered from sin, and I'm here to tell you that you too can be free. Submit yourself to God Resist the devil, and he will flee from you I used to think that being delivered from sin, was as simple as a prayer, laying on of hands, and batabang bataboom, you're free. I now know that it is a constant battle in your mind. You must use the word of God to overcome temptation. Pray constantly, keeping God in your mind, and block out everything that dares to hinder you. God has a great plan for your life; I am just learning how to follow his plan for me.
God I love you, and all that I do...I do for You!

My Style:

My style of music is contemporary gospel, which is similar to what we call rhythm and blues (R&B), but it gives all praise and honor to God. I also sing R&B, however I won't sing anything that isn't pleasing to God. E.g. I sing R&B music but I don't promote pre-marital sex, or lust, or adultery as do some artists today.

My Influences:

It's great to have Christian men and women to look up to. As an artist, I look up to Marvin Sapp, Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams and many more. I don't just look up to them because they can sing well, but I look up to them because they truly praise God. When they sing people are touched, and I am one of those people. Listening to them minister through song personally helped me in the midst of my situations.
