im hearing a bit of a byrds influence. the jangly guitar. love it.

"looove remains" has to be the best part in the song. the guy pulls it off perfectly.

read my post again. i said they haven't had a decent tune since start me up.i love the songs they recorded in the 60s and early 70s. but seeing 60 year old men try and rock out on stage is embarrassing. that was my point.

a man who uses big words but doesn't know quite how to use them. leave the verbal gymnastics to stephen fry.

the intro is majestic. reminds me of the intro to last night dreamt somebody loved me by the smiths. the difference being that the moody, melancholic split enz intro gives way to a bright and sunny pop tune.

love this. such a pity i never got to see him live. when i first heard this song, i thought he was saying ann morgan.

for sure. the intro is very similiar to fleetwood mac's albatross.

wonder if the goats are a reference to pet sounds? i know the beach boys are a big influence for these guys.

to think back then he had a go at the comedy bigwigs like richard curtis. now he schmoozes up to letterman and seinfeld. sell out!

no one is above criticism-even mr john williams. i stand by what i said. you are entitled to your opinion, but so am i. i don't like williams' work. his scores are derivative. sometimes he is even derivative of his own work. star wars and superman are almost interchangeable.

weasel isn't a great word. makes what he's teaching seem even more insidious . the idea of subliminally influencing a woman to feel what you want her to feel isn't moral in my book.

wonder if he likes folky tull. songs from the wood era jethro tull.
