This is my favorite rhythm section ever! Gerald, Danton, and Montez. They had amazing chemistry on stage. Danton's bass playing made me cry, it was so touching! This was recorded in July 2007.

Interestingly, this original Roy Hargrove song is listed as "Camaraderie" on the 2006 cd "Nothing Serious" by the Roy Hargrove Quintet. Other songs from this live dvd recording on that album are "Trust," "Nothing Serious," and "Never Let Me Go."

@Kranlock I have every album Roy has made, and I don't see this tune listed on any of them up to this point. Most of the songs in this concert appeared on the latest quintet cd, Earfood, 2008. This live dvd recording was July 2007.

@cornellbell1 ...Yes, Billy Preston recorded this in 1979: "With You I'm Born Again" (with Syreeta Wright) - US Pop #4, UK #2. Billy Preston is often referred to as the 5th Beatle. Wikipedia has a great write up of his life. He died in 2006.
