Jasmin Bain aka Lady Shakespeare was born October 16, 1990 to Denise, African American and Clifford, Bahamian. Lady's mother, Denise, notice her daughter's talent at the age of three hearing her daughter sing Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You". Also at that age, Lady started studying Ballet, Tap, and Hip Hop dance. "I remember practicing my plies, my piques and spins everyday in class and at home. I would watch Michael Jackson and study his every move and step until i got better at dancing." Lady start to recognize her other talents, rapping and acting at the tender age of 10. "I wrote my first rap at 10. i didn't take it serious until i was 15. then i realized right then and there what i wanted to do.". Lady started writing and writing and writing until she got better. And now she is on the merge of taking over the game. Lady Shakespeare also states that she look up to her influences. "I look up to to Legends Like Michael Jackson Queen Latifah, Monie Love, Rakim, Notorious B.I.G, Stevie Wonder, Special Ed, MC Lyte, Slick Rick, Nas, Lil Wayne. I also look up to the new Artist like Nicki Minaj, Travis McCoy. and Especially Drake. he showed me that you don't have to be a thug or a gangster from the ghetto to make it. but you can be a kid from the suburban area raised as a only child and still be successful."
