Rising Jazz sensation brings his trumpet along with his orchestra for an evening of original compositions and repertory classics. From the House of Blues, to live shows on elegant cruises, to touring with Grammy-winning artists, Collinsworth's relaxed approach to high standards of musicianship makes the audience want more every time. In stints with the Jimmy Dorsey Band, plus shows with Dionne Warwick, Burt Bacharach, Ben Vereen, Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gormè, Collinsworth has developed a reputation as a confident master of his horn and a strong musical leader. He has traveled to more than 50 countries and all 50 states during his career.
As a musician for Bradley House Studios he has performed on numerous CDs. He is also an
artist for Xstream Music Products.
His musical training includes the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Berklee College of Music and the Virginia Governors Magnet School for the Arts. He also spent 4 years in the United States Army, and is a graduate of the Armed Forces School of Music.
