I'm really outgoing and I love to make people laugh. I'm very goal-oriented and will always find a way to improve myself. Even though my career choice requires me to "play the part", I still act like a kid; it's important to stay young. Sense of humor is key. Each day is a new day, but it's a day that you'll never get back. I miss Las Vegas, and everything and everyone that came with it so much. I'm not too materialistic, but I spend way too much money on things that I "think" I need. My family is a huge part of my life, for without them I would be lost. I have the best friends a guy could ask for.

Jay De Jesus is a young dancer and choreographer aspiring to establish his own style of the craft. In 2003, he started out by joining the Las Vegas based team, Meccamee. Since then, he has expanded his knowledge by training and learning from choreographers who influence him. He is the team's captain, enhancing tentativness and ensuring retention is on point. Being one of the lead choreographers for the team, his pieces have been featured in shows and competitions such as Battlefest Vegas, Boogie Wars, Body Rock, World of Dance, and Culture Shock's Flava 3 and Takin' It To The Streets. He teaches classes and stands in as the special events coordinator for *Groove Community Dance at Studio 702. Jay is also the co-director of Meccamee's Company Class, bringing both known and unknown choreographers forth to teach while helping the Las Vegas dance scene grow. Recently, he has been training and helping the younger Meccamee members develop the creative aspect of their skill. Jay is a highly disciplined, dedicated dancer who wishes to share his knowledge and experience with other dancers in hopes to elevate their love for dance as well.
Jay is a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army, branch Field Artillery, and is currently stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky with the 3rd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division. He graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems in August 2008. Jay will pursue his Master's Degree in the Spring of 2010.
