About Me:
I enjoy sessions in Irish and Old Time Music (celtic, ITM, American Traditional/Mountain Music) and play the guitar, Dulcimer, Autoharp and Bodhran. Currently working on the banjo, whistle and recorder. Also like other styles of music such as bluegrass, traditional country, reggea and blues.
Nuair a stadann an ceol, stadann an rince. - When the music stops, so does the dance.
By the way - How come its called a "penny whistle" and I had to pay ten bucks? And on the other hand a "tin whistle", when mine is made of brass? Hmmmm... Am I missing something?
Anyways - The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.
But seriously - a lesson from my Grandfather;
Altes brot ist nicht hart. Kein brot, das ist hart (old German proverb he had hanging on his wall - which always struck me as very true - particularly if you have ever been hungry)
