Now compare that to the US "elections", where you choose between 2 millionaires (Coke&Pepsi) who then do whatever they want for 4-8 years. And you're lucky if your vote even counts on condition that: (a) the electronic voting machines with no paper trails do not "malfunction" (b) you are not one of the tens of thousands purged from the voter rolls (see Greg Palast) (c) the electoral college agrees with your decision. Good ol' USA, the next Banana Republic where corrupt political dynasties rule and the popular vote doesn't really matter anymore. LOL!

Venezuela has free and fair elections. They are administered by an independent electoral council elected by the National Assembly. On top of that, they are the most open, transparent, and monitored elections in Latin America's history with clean bills of health from the Carter Center, the Organization of American States, and the European Union. Venezuela is a REAL democracy. Their constitution allows the president or any elected official to be recalled from office if 20% of the electorate sign a petition.

I make controversial comments hoping to get a rise out of people, especially young people and I do. Sometimes I tone it down and they react as expected. What's amazing is how very predictable
their responses are. I know that if I say, for example, that pot is terrible, that someone is going to respond in a knee jerk fashion, it's almost as though they're PROGRAMMED, they don't even realize that their thoughts may not be their own, BUT they defend them to the death.




This only proves that we as a nation have been completely brainwashed by one faction or another, by the so-called more "liberal" side or the so-called more "conservative" side.
The truth is that we are controlled and manipulated by forces that are far greater than we had anticipated. I think we're just starting to realize this...now to find out who "they" are or is !!!
