The 3.0 with 5spd or a 02-03 with 6spd. are definately the fastest. 04-06 with a 6spd aren't bad either. I have a modded 06 max, its auto but its fast as hell. My goal is drop a 370z motor in it. I love my max best car I ever bought.

Most cars will not beat a sti off the line unless you have good power and can launch your fwd or rwd car. From a roll at higher speeds its a different story.

I heard the block plate with stock manifold has more horsepower gains. I have a modded 06 max. I was think of getting the kinetix. I have the bop. How were your hp gains with it. Good 0-60. My best was 5.4 & mine is auto. If I got better tires it could be better.

For a twin turbo thought it would be faster

i have auto maxima and with just a k&n intake i did 0-60 in 6.2. i have more mods now and i do it in 5.6 with crappy tires. and yea its a 4 door sport sedan. 6 sec 0-60 otherwise stock is pretty dam good. i put it manual mode take traction off hold brake rev to 2500 RPMS feather down the gas then...

any altima is nice either 2.5 or 3.5. There not race cars. You want a car for performance by a vette or mustang. Modding a car is making to your liking. I have a modded 06 maxima. I can give a shit if your smart car is fast. My car looks good and that's all I car about.

Put a turbo or sc on altima then race.

you need to uprev that z. if your close to long island they have a place called performance motorsports. they map your stock ecu with up to 5 different tunes. look it up on youtube its called uprev your nisson/infinity. i have a modded 06 max im going to get mapped.

nice run its more like 5.5 seconds. yours is auto right. i get about 5.6 5.7 with my mods with a good launch. these cars shine after 35mph,

i agree i have a modded 06 max and i whooped my freinds 08 bad and then he got a 2011 and then i whooped his ass again. even when i was stock i beat him. not a fan of cvt tranny. 03-06 best years.
