Jay Mankita's songs speak to the human condition, with honesty, compassion, and humorous insight. His concerts are intimate and hopeful, thought provoking, irreverently funny, and musically refreshing.

In addition to his adult touring, Jay also plays for children, in schools, libraries, and other venues. Songs like 'Wild Thing, Baby', 'I Am A Dolphin', and 'Something Called Snow' are likely to be heard in one of Jay's concerts for kids. On the other hand, songs like 'They Lied', Mistakes', and 'Bread Alone' are not.
