I don't have any pics of tetra eggs and you'd be hard pressed to find any. The eggs are tiny, spherical and almost transparent. I've seen my diamond and my dwarf neon rainbow burst/scatter eggs but once they fall, they are near impossible to spot. Fish that scatter eggs to breed generally pay no attention to the eggs once they have been released.

Diamonds will eat their fry so it's better to set up a breeding tank and remove them when the spawning is done. They scatter the eggs, tetras are not livebearers.

How long?

roughly two months but that's not a precise estimate though once they have settled in, they spawn regularly.

I got the to spawn by making sure the ammonia and nitrite was @ 0ppm consistently. And by adding a grassy plant (java works fine) for them to spawn in. Get at me if you need any more info, I'll be glad to help.
