En Portugues, Italiano, Frances y en Ingles estar "blue" o "Blu" o Azul es estar triste. El Gato azul entonces es el gato triste. Quiza lo dejaron asi para rimar bien con la letra de la cancion original en portugues por Roberto Carlos.
